Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup ground peanuts or red bean paste
  • 1/2 cup crushed peanuts

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the glutinous rice flour, water, and sugar to form a dough.
  2. Divide the dough into small balls and flatten each ball into a disc.
  3. Place a small amount of ground peanuts or red bean paste in the center of each disc and wrap the dough around the filling, forming it into a ball.
  4. Boil the taro balls in a pot of water until they float to the surface, then remove and drain.
  5. Roll the cooked taro balls in the crushed peanuts until coated.
