客家豆腐皮卷 (Hakka Stuffed Tofu Skin Rolls) is a traditional dish from Hakka Cuisine that features a flavorful filling wrapped in tofu skin and then steamed to perfection.
Ingredients
- 8 pieces of dried tofu skin
- 200g ground pork
- 1 cup chopped shiitake mushrooms
- 1/2 cup chopped bamboo shoots
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Soak the dried tofu skin in warm water for 10 minutes until softened. Cut each piece in half lengthwise.
- In a bowl, mix the ground pork, shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, white pepper, green onion, and cornstarch. Season with salt.
- Place a spoonful of the filling onto each piece of tofu skin and roll it up tightly.
- Steam the rolls for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
