Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons harissa paste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- Salt to taste
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2-4 tablespoons water
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, harissa paste, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, and salt.
- Blend the mixture while slowly adding the olive oil. If the mixture is too thick, add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Transfer the hummus to a serving dish, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with a pinch of cumin and harissa for garnish.
