Harissa-marinated Grilled Tofu

Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 3 tablespoons harissa paste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the harissa paste, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and minced garlic to make the marinade.
- Cut the pressed tofu into thick slices and place them in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the tofu, making sure each slice is well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Place the marinated tofu slices on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until grill marks appear and the tofu is heated through.
- Remove the grilled tofu from the heat and garnish with chopped fresh cilantro. Serve hot and enjoy!
