和谐草药汤 (Harmonious Herbal Soup) is a traditional Taoist Diet cuisine that promotes balance and harmony within the body. This nourishing soup is made with a blend of Chinese herbs and ingredients that are believed to have healing properties.
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 packet of Chinese herbal soup mix
- 1 cup sliced shiitake mushrooms
- 1 block of firm tofu, cubed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a large pot.
- Add the Chinese herbal soup mix and reduce heat to a simmer. Let it simmer for 1 hour.
- Add the sliced shiitake mushrooms and cubed tofu. Cook for an additional 30 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
