Hazaragi Stuffed Mushrooms (Dolma-e Gharch)
Dolma-e Gharch, or Hazaragi Stuffed Mushrooms, is a delicious traditional dish from Hazaragi Cuisine. These stuffed mushrooms are filled with a flavorful mixture of ingredients and are perfect for a special occasion or as a tasty appetizer.
Ingredients
- 12 large mushrooms
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove the stems from the mushrooms and finely chop them.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked rice, chopped mushroom stems, onion, tomato, parsley, cilantro, walnuts, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the rice mixture and place them in a baking dish.
- Drizzle the stuffed mushrooms with olive oil and bake for 25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender.
- Serve the Dolma-e Gharch hot and enjoy!
