Heavenly Beef Noodles is a classic Cantonese dish that combines tender beef, flavorful noodles, and a savory sauce. This dish is perfect for a comforting and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
- 8 oz fresh egg noodles
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the fresh egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
- In the same wok, add a little more oil if needed and sauté the garlic, onion, and bell pepper until they are tender.
- Return the beef to the wok, then add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and beef broth. Stir well to combine.
- Add the cooked noodles to the wok and toss to coat them with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the beef noodles to a serving dish and serve hot.
