Ingredients

  • 1 whole duck, cut into pieces
  • 10g dried red dates
  • 10g dried goji berries
  • 10g dried longan
  • 4 slices ginger
  • 2 stalks spring onion, cut into sections
  • 2.5L water
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Blanch the duck pieces in boiling water for 5 minutes, then rinse under cold water and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, add the blanched duck, dried red dates, dried goji berries, dried longan, ginger, and spring onion.
  3. Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Skim off any impurities that rise to the surface.
  4. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 2 hours.
  5. Season with salt to taste before serving.
