Ingredients

  • 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 piece of ginger, sliced
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 6 cloves

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the hibiscus flowers, ginger, sugar, cinnamon stick, and cloves to the boiling water.
  3. Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the liquid to remove the hibiscus flowers and spices.
  5. Chill the tea in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
