Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and ghee. Mix well to form a crumbly texture.
- Add water gradually and knead the mixture into a smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the sugar syrup by heating sugar and water in a saucepan until it reaches a one-string consistency.
- Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into small balls. Flatten each ball and fill it with chopped nuts.
- Heat ghee in a deep pan and fry the filled dough balls until golden brown. Drain excess ghee and dip them into the sugar syrup.
- Sprinkle cardamom powder over the syrup-coated balls and let them cool before serving.
