Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 4 servings of yakisoba noodles
- 4 slices of pork belly
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup okonomiyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped scallions
- 1/4 cup pickled ginger
- 1/4 cup bonito flakes
- 1/4 cup aonori (dried seaweed flakes)
Instructions
- Divide the cabbage, yakisoba noodles, pork slices, and eggs into 4 equal portions.
- Heat a griddle or large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Place one portion of cabbage on the griddle and top with a portion of noodles, then a pork slice, and finally crack an egg on top.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes, then carefully flip the hiroshimayaki and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the egg is cooked through.
- Repeat with the remaining portions.
- Drizzle okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise over the hiroshimayaki, then sprinkle with scallions, pickled ginger, bonito flakes, and aonori.
