Hmong-inspired Beef Satay

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, fish sauce, garlic, coriander, cumin, turmeric, cayenne pepper, and coconut milk to make the marinade.
