Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp sake

  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 block silken tofu, cubed
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the kombu dashi broth, soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Add the green onions, shiitake mushrooms, and tofu to the pot. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Gently add the scallops, snow crab legs, and shrimp to the pot. Simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes until the seafood is cooked through.
  4. Stir in the dissolved cornstarch to thicken the broth. Drizzle with sesame oil and gently stir to combine.
  5. Divide the seafood and broth into serving bowls. Serve hot with steamed rice.
