Ingredients
- 300g fresh Hokkaido scallops
- 250g Hokkaido snow crab legs
- 200g Hokkaido shrimp
- 1 cup Hokkaido kombu dashi broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp sugar
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 4 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1 block silken tofu, cubed
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the kombu dashi broth, soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Add the green onions, shiitake mushrooms, and tofu to the pot. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Gently add the scallops, snow crab legs, and shrimp to the pot. Simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes until the seafood is cooked through.
- Stir in the dissolved cornstarch to thicken the broth. Drizzle with sesame oil and gently stir to combine.
- Divide the seafood and broth into serving bowls. Serve hot with steamed rice.
