Hokkien Mee Magic

Ingredients

  • 300g Hokkien noodles
  • 200g prawns, shelled and deveined
  • 200g squid, cleaned and sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 200g bean sprouts
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium heat. Add garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
  2. Add prawns and squid, and stir-fry until they turn pink and opaque.
  3. Push the seafood to one side of the wok, crack the eggs into the empty space, and scramble them.
  4. Add the Hokkien noodles, bean sprouts, soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, and sugar. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in the chicken stock and simmer for 5 minutes until the noodles have absorbed the flavors.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy your Hokkien Mee!
