Holat (stuffed Grilled Tofu)

Ingredients

  • 4 blocks of firm tofu
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped green beans
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Cut the tofu blocks in half horizontally to create a pocket for the stuffing.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the chopped carrots, cabbage, green beans, onion, garlic, soy sauce, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Stuff the tofu pockets with the vegetable mixture.
  5. Brush the stuffed tofu with cooking oil.
  6. Grill the tofu for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
