Honey Chilli Chicken

Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chilli sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and black pepper. Coat the chicken pieces with this mixture.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the coated chicken until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add honey, soy sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar, and water. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the cornstarch-water mixture to the sauce and stir until it thickens.
  5. Toss in the fried chicken pieces, coating them in the honey chilli sauce.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
