Honey Glazed Bbq Spare Ribs

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork spare ribs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp five-spice powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic, five-spice powder, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the spare ribs in a roasting pan and brush the honey mixture over the ribs, covering them evenly.
  4. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 1.5 hours, basting the ribs with the honey mixture every 30 minutes.
  5. Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the ribs are caramelized and tender.
  6. Slice the ribs and serve hot.
