Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork spare ribs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp five-spice powder
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic, five-spice powder, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Place the spare ribs in a roasting pan and brush the honey mixture over the ribs, covering them evenly.
- Cover the pan with foil and bake for 1.5 hours, basting the ribs with the honey mixture every 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the ribs are caramelized and tender.
- Slice the ribs and serve hot.
