Ingredients
- 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
- 2 potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 2 tbsp cooking wine
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp five-spice powder
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium heat. Add garlic, ginger, and green onions. Stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add beef slices and stir-fry until browned.
- Pour in cooking wine, soy sauce, sugar, and five-spice powder. Stir well to coat the beef.
- Add beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add sliced potatoes and continue to simmer for another 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
