Hornado De Cerdo Picante (spicy Pork Hornado)

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder, bone-in
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano, orange juice, and lime juice to create the marinade.
  3. Place the pork shoulder in a roasting pan and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the marinade over the pork, making sure to coat it evenly.
  5. Cover the roasting pan with foil and roast in the oven for 2.5 hours.
  6. Remove the foil and continue roasting for another 30 minutes, or until the pork is tender and the top is crispy.
  7. Once done, remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
