Ingredients
- 1 kg horse meat, cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 cups tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté until the onion is soft and translucent.
- Add the horse meat chunks to the pot and brown on all sides.
- Pour in the tomato puree, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Add the water, cover the pot, and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Once the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened, remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
