Ingredients

  • 500g large prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 green chilies, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 spring onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, marinate the prawns with soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and sugar for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or pan over high heat. Add garlic, ginger, and green chilies, and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  3. Add the marinated prawns and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the water and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the prawns are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  5. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
