Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 red onion, cut into chunks
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, pineapple juice, garlic, ginger, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Place the shrimp in a resealable plastic bag and pour 1/2 cup of the marinade over the shrimp. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

- Thread the marinated shrimp, bell peppers, and onion onto the soaked skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, basting with the reserved marinade, until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
