Huli Huli Beef Stir-fry
Huli Huli Beef Stir-Fry is a delicious Hawaiian dish that combines tender beef with a variety of fresh vegetables and a flavorful sauce. This stir-fry is quick and easy to make, making it perfect for a weeknight dinner or a casual gathering with friends and family.
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, snap peas, carrots, broccoli)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to make the sauce.
- Season the sliced beef with salt and pepper.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add the beef to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Heat the remaining tablespoon of oil in the skillet and add the mixed vegetables. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables. Stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through and well coated with the sauce.
- Serve the Huli Huli Beef Stir-Fry hot over steamed rice or noodles.
