Ingredients
- 12 frog legs
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup dried red chilies
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Sichuan peppercorns
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Pat the frog legs dry with paper towels and coat them with cornstarch.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over high heat and fry the frog legs until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same wok, add the dried red chilies, garlic, and Sichuan peppercorns. Stir-fry until fragrant.
- Return the frog legs to the wok, then add the Shaoxing wine, soy sauce, sugar, and salt. Stir-fry until the frog legs are coated in the spicy sauce.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
