Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3-4 dried red chilies
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili paste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
- Add the tomatoes, onion, dried red chilies, and garlic to the pot. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce, chili paste, sugar, and salt. Add the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink.
- Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the green onions.
- Divide the soup into bowls and garnish with fresh cilantro.
