Ingredients

  • 2 large apples, peeled, cored, and diced

  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, and salt until smooth.
  3. Heat a small amount of oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Pour a ladleful of the batter into the pan and swirl to coat the bottom.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden, then flip and cook the other side.
  6. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  7. Spread the apple mixture on one half of each pancake, then fold the other half over the filling.
  8. Continue cooking the filled pancakes until they are golden and crispy.
  9. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  10. Serve the Almás Palacsinta warm, dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
