Hungarian Cottage Cheese Noodles (Túrós Csusza)

Ingredients
- 400g egg noodles
- 250g cottage cheese
- 200g sour cream
- 100g bacon, diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
- Reduce the heat and add the cooked noodles, cottage cheese, and sour cream to the skillet. Stir well to combine and heat through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Túrós Csusza hot, topped with the crispy bacon.
