Hungarian Lecsó Delight (Lecsó)

Ingredients

  • 3 bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 eggs (optional)
  • 4 sausages (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, heat the oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the onions and garlic, and sauté until the onions are translucent.
  3. Add the sliced peppers and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 10 minutes.
  5. If desired, create wells in the lecsó and crack the eggs into the wells, or add the sausages to the pan and cook until done.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
