Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- Oil for deep-frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast.
- Add the warm water and mix until a dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Once the dough has risen, divide it into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.
- On a floured surface, roll out each ball of dough into a flat round shape.
- Heat the oil in a deep pot or fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Gently place the rolled-out dough into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove the lángos from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil.
- Top the lángos with garlic, sour cream, and cheese, or any other desired toppings.
- Serve the lángos hot and enjoy!
