Ingredients
- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef or vegetable broth
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, cooked rice, onion, garlic, paprika, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stuff the bell peppers with the meat and rice mixture.
- Place the stuffed peppers in a deep skillet or baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix the tomato sauce and broth, then pour the mixture over the stuffed peppers.
- Cover the skillet or baking dish with a lid or foil and cook on the stovetop over medium heat for 45-50 minutes, or bake in the preheated oven for the same amount of time.
- Once the peppers are tender and the filling is cooked through, remove from heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
