Iga Babi Asam Manis (sweet And Sour Pork Ribs)

Ingredients
- 1 kg pork ribs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tbsp water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the pork ribs until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant.
- Add the bell peppers and stir-fry for a few minutes.
- Return the pork ribs to the pan.
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, vinegar, and tomato ketchup. Pour over the pork ribs.
- Season with salt and pepper, then cover and simmer for 1 hour or until the pork is tender.
- Stir in the cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce.
- Serve the Iga Babi Asam Manis hot with steamed rice.
