Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork ribs
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Season the ribs with salt and pepper, then place them in a roasting pan.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Cook over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce has thickened slightly.
  4. Pour the pineapple glaze over the ribs, covering them evenly.
  5. Cover the roasting pan with foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
  6. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 30 minutes, basting the ribs with the glaze every 10 minutes.
  7. Once the ribs are tender and caramelized, remove them from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
