Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh white fish fillets, diced
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 chili pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a glass or ceramic bowl, combine the diced fish and lime juice. Make sure the fish is completely submerged in the juice. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. After 30 minutes, drain the lime juice from the fish.
  3. Add the coconut cream, diced cucumber, tomato, red onion, chili pepper, and chopped cilantro to the fish. Mix gently to combine.
  4. Season with salt to taste.
  5. Refrigerate for an additional 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve the ika ceviche chilled, garnished with extra cilantro if desired.
