Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh tuna, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the coconut oil over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Add the tuna pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
- Add the red bell pepper and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the coconut milk, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Ika Tausala hot over steamed rice.
