仙人免疫炒 (Immortal's Immunity Stir-Fry) is a traditional Taoist dish that is believed to boost the body's immune system and promote overall health and vitality.
Ingredients
- 1 block firm tofu, cubed
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, broccoli, and snap peas)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a large wok or skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the tofu and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, until golden brown.
- Push the tofu to one side of the wok and add the garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and vegetable broth. Pour the sauce over the stir-fry and toss to combine.
- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
