Ingredients

  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  2. Heat a pan over medium heat and dry roast the shrimp paste for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. In a blender, combine the roasted shrimp paste, chopped chili peppers, shallots, garlic, and tomato. Blend until smooth.
  4. Transfer the blended mixture to a pan and cook over low heat. Add palm sugar, lime juice, and salt. Stir well and cook for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and let the Sambal Symphony cool before transferring it to a jar or container.
