Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked white rice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup green peas
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- 1 teaspoon chili paste
- 4 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and chopped onion, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add diced carrots, bell pepper, and green peas, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
- Push the vegetables to the side of the pan, and crack the eggs into the empty space. Scramble the eggs until cooked.
- Add cooked rice to the pan, and stir to combine with the vegetables and eggs.
- Pour soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, and chili paste over the rice, and stir well to evenly coat the rice.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
