Ingredients
- 500g minced meat

- 1 lemongrass stalk, white part only, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp coconut milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- Bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the minced meat, shallots, garlic, shrimp paste, palm sugar, ground coriander, ground cumin, turmeric powder, lemongrass, coconut milk, and salt.
- Using your hands, form the meat mixture onto the soaked bamboo skewers, pressing the meat to create a tight and even layer around the skewers.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
- Serve the Indonesian minced meat skewers hot with steamed rice and a side of sambal for dipping.
