Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish fillets, cut into chunks
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeño, finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 4 cups fish or vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion, garlic, and jalapeño. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the cumin and paprika, then add the diced tomatoes. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in the fish or vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add the fish chunks to the pot and let them cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are fully cooked.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
