Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Irish soda bread, cut into cubes
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Maple syrup, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Place the Irish soda bread cubes in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
