Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds lamb shoulder, cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup rice
  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the lamb chunks and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  3. Spread the rice evenly on the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Place the browned lamb chunks on top of the rice.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt, eggs, feta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and dill. Season with salt and pepper.
