Ingredients

  • 4 cups fish or seafood broth
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sake (Japanese rice wine)
  • 1 tablespoon mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until they are soft and translucent.
