Island Jerk Pork (Saare jerk-sealiha)

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup jerk seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the pork with jerk seasoning, garlic, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. Add the onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce, orange juice, and pineapple juice. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  5. Cover and let the pork simmer for 45-50 minutes, or until tender.
  6. Serve the Island Jerk Pork hot with rice and beans.
