Ingredients
- 500g lamb or chicken, thinly sliced
- 4 pita breads

- 1 cup plain yogurt

- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the yogurt, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt to make the yogurt sauce. Set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced meat, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook until the meat is browned and cooked through.
- Warm the pita bread in a separate pan or in the oven.
- Assemble the gyro by placing the cooked meat, sliced onion, tomato, and cucumber on the pita bread. Drizzle with the yogurt sauce.
- Wrap the gyro and serve hot.
