Italian Sliders
Italian sliders are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or meal. These mini sandwiches are packed with flavor and perfect for serving at parties or for a quick dinner.
Ingredients
- 12 slider buns
- 1 pound ground Italian sausage
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Cook the ground Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the marinara sauce, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Split the slider buns and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Spoon the sausage mixture over the bottom halves of the buns.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the sausage mixture.
- Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
- Sprinkle the chopped fresh basil over the sliders before serving.
