Ingredients
- 12 spring roll wrappers
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 cup julienned carrots
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, julienned carrots, sliced bell peppers, bean sprouts, and chopped cilantro.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Pour the sauce over the vegetable mixture and toss to combine.
- Place a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface and spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the vegetable filling onto the bottom third of the wrapper. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling, then roll it up tightly, sealing the edge with a little water.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the spring rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve the jadeite spring rolls hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
