Ingredients

  • 4 sheets of nori (seaweed)
  • 2 cups cooked short-grain rice
  • 1 cup jajangmyeon sauce
  • 1/2 cup julienned cucumber
  • 1/2 cup julienned carrot
  • 1/4 cup julienned onion
  • 8 crab sticks
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat.
  2. Spread a thin layer of rice over the nori, leaving a small border at the top.
  3. Spread a line of jajangmyeon sauce across the center of the rice.
  4. Arrange the julienned vegetables and crab sticks on top of the sauce.
  5. Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, sealing the edge with a bit of water.
  6. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 4 rolls.
  7. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and lightly fry the rolls until the nori is crispy.
  8. Slice the rolls into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
