Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced

- 1 cup shredded Bhutanese cheese (Datshi)

- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the shredded cheese and green chili, if using. Pour in the water and stir to combine all the ingredients. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sauce has thickened.
- Remove from heat and serve the Jaju Datshi Paa hot, with steamed rice or Bhutanese red rice.
