Jamaican Jerk Pork Stir-fry
This Jamaican Jerk Pork Stir-Fry combines the bold flavors of Jamaican jerk seasoning with the quick and easy cooking method of stir-frying. It's a delicious fusion dish that's perfect for a weeknight dinner or a weekend gathering.
Ingredients
- 1 pound pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons Jamaican jerk seasoning
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup snow peas
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the pork slices with Jamaican jerk seasoning and soy sauce. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated pork and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the onion, bell pepper, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet. Stir-fry for another minute.
- Return the cooked pork to the skillet and toss everything together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
