Ingredients

- 4 eggs

- 1/2 cup dark rum
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the batter alternately with the milk and rum.
- Fold in the dried fruit and nuts. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
